.Org Tribute Video

Hello everyone, I'm interested in making a giant video tribute to the cars and members in the .Org. I've been dabbling in some video editing and after a week or so I feel like I am READY!

So what I would like is links to videos of your car or pictures or whatever you can send to me that I can download and use.

I've been sitting around at home for the past few weekends just staring at walls so I decided to do something a little productive.

So if you are interested please send me links to your Youtube (Or whatever) videos of your car. Also feel free to send me videos of any naked female humanoid because I will need it for "research"

Also I'm not sure how long it would take me to complete this project since I'm using Movie Maker because its free and it works and being a Maxima owner I'm also too cheap to buy After Effects

Thanks!

PART ONE SO FAR:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1o46w...&feature=feedu

MEMBER'S IN VIDEO:
1. Leo_Koneval
2. Chernmax

I'm buying a 97 Maxima SE tomorrow. I'll get some cruise video that you can use.

Awesome can't wait! For now I will be working on the intro. And also picking out a few instrumentals for the background music.

How do you guys feel about something like this:

Intro is complete! I will post it for you guys to see. This is gonna be a really amateur video which is made for fun not really to represent the .Org so please don't expect a masterpiece haha!

I will post the intro as soon as it is done saving.

EDIT: Saving done! Its uploaded to Youtube and now we just need to wait for them to finish processing.

I'm looking for a clip of someone turning on their HIDs or lights in total darkness. You will be the first person introduced! You will be introduced right after the intro

From the front, like the view I have if I were to stand in front of your car. And anything is fine as long as its HID

Not sure how it would look once done but in my head it looked pretty cool haha

Awesome now we have a few background music ideas, now I still need those clips. Stop being lazy guys!!

I can't have a .org tribute with only a intro and a fancy song!

Okay so I've got the go ahead for Mr. Chernmax.

I will go ahead and put together his clips and pick out a new introduction song for the video.

How do you guys feel about Tokyo Drift from the Teriyaki Boyz?

I like the first one! For some reason I think it would suit more towards the rolling shots of our cars. But I'm gonna go dig up the instrumentals and save it for when I get some clips.

Thanks! Oh and please don't click those links posted by those bots.

Also I've decided that after doing Chernmax's clips that trying to squeeze everyone into one video would not allow for enough time to really let us see each person's car. So I've decided to make a separate video for each person who wants one.

Just for as a little fun side project ha!

Isnt Gymkhana different then Autocross?
Ive always seen Gymkhana involving more advanced driving skills using 180's,360's, and slides around different obstacles.

Correct, which is why I was quoting chrome for thinking our solid rear axles aren't JDM enough for him. I'm going again on the 28th, I'll make sure the charge the go pro this time, should be fun with my Radials this time.

This course only has one spin cone though, and there's not too much sliding around involved to get around it fast, but I can always overdue a few corners for JDM sake

Wow, So your actually doing true Gymkhana in the Maxima? 360's, 180's etc?
If so, yeah that would be cool to see for sure.
Those other vids you posted just look like a normal autocross setup.

Yah, only have a picture of me halfway through a 180, but that's about it.

ROLL TIDE ROLLLLLLLLLLL

I may do a pre-gymK pratice with the go pro since now I finally have a good working parking brake, whatever I end up doing vids will be posted here, I should be raising the car back up in about a week or so then I'll start tearing up the back roads and what not, should be some cool stuff coming very shortly for this tribute vid.

dont care about the suspension (even though the Supra and 3rd gen are both IRS), but dont forget when a FWD car slides, its up to you to correct it. RWD will correct itself

Thank you!

Also I don't need you to actually send me anything. I just need links to your channel like the one you just gave and then I can go ahead and rip and download the videos I need; all on my own.

Unless there are some videos you don't want me to use.

What do you mean correct itself? My only RWD expierience comes from the short few minutes driving a Miata during Gymkhana and hours of Forza.

Both drivetrains need a blip of throttle during exits, but again, I'm very inexpierienced overall and have close to none pushing RWD cars hard.

Lateral support, our seats have none. I had to do a right hander 180 before that pic, and think about what happens when your *** slides into the door....
