By tractor I mean farm or riding lawn mower type, and I believe this qualifies as the next challenge unless t_behr904 disagrees

tractor

Too easy, had one in my yard. The rolling maxima thing was an issue for me because...where is a pic of the forever alone guy when you need it? Keep it going!!!

Next challenge, At an airport on runway/taxiway/in front of hanger. No outside the fence shots on this one. I do not believe any airport will let you on a runway, taxiways are fair game generally (at smaller airport).

I'll update the OP with that score, thanks Chris.

The current challenge is pretty iffy. I don't know of a single airport that you can get on a runway, taxiway, or in front of a hanger. I'll leave it up to the person who issued it if they want to keep it how it is or change it since they have to complete it on their own if no one else does.

The airports here have all of that fenced off. Access denied. I remember mentioning this the last time someone did some sort of airport challenge. Maybe for a more rural airport it can be done, but not here.

I am guessing the only way to do this with no fence is if you have an "In" at a small airport which maybe Jlaugh has. I could get near a hanger at a small airport but not without a fence in the way.

Let's try to keep these challenges somewhat realistic and as fair as possible. For example, "your Maxima in the snow" wouldn't apply to me since I live in Florida. Or if I said "your Maxima next to a coconut palm tree" wouldn't be fair for anyone else throughout most of the country. We're all spread out, and it also includes Canada. So, "your Maxima parked next to a body of water" would be more reasonable since that could mean an ocean, lake, river, stream, pond, waterfall, etc. Not to rant here, just wanted to give my 0.02 cents to keep things moving smoothly.

This is a good post which is why my last challenge to get things going again was very simple. Sometimes I think people post challenges knowing no one else will be able to them except for the person posting the challenge. Maybe we should do away with the points and just keep this simple. Don't know though...just MY .02 guess ultimately its up to Waxima how he wants to run his thread and keep things moving along.

I agree with you on this. It's just a game, and it's supposed to be fun. It's not like there's a prize or anything. Difficult or unrealistic challenges will just turn people off from participating.

Hmmm... idk to be honest. If there was some sort of prize, then this thread would have to be moderated heavily to keep sorry **** *****'s from cheating.

Why? There's no benefit for someone completing their own challenge besides not losing any points.

I realize that but its my only logical reason for why some people would post near impossible challenges. So my only thought is that some (not all) post a challenge only they can complete so they get the point. Just an observation, don't mean to offend anyone.

All we need is someone to keep track of scores for a month, and a prize at the end of the month. Thats actually not a half bad idea...

I assume this counts. I just took the picture this morning when I got off work and I'm on the airport inside the fence. I'm parked in front of the hangar where I work. I have two planes in the background. This is an awesome game btw.

My Challenge: Your Maxima next to a Jeep with Christmas Lights somewhere in the picture (I know this is specific, so yes I know where I'm going to come up with a pic if someone else doesn't in 48hrs, but I'm pretty sure its doable for almost anyone). Drive around till you find a random house decorated for Christmas with a Jeep out front if you have to...Happy Picture Taking!

Upload it to a photo hosting site such as photobucket, then insert the image URL into your message. I'm not sure if you can do it with the mobile version, I don't have any experience with that. Also, the current challenge is the only one you respond to if you read the rules. I guess it doesn't hurt to post a picture for an old challenge, but it had better be a good one (or something like that).

The airport here leaves the gate open, you can drive right out on the taxiway. You actually park on the taxiway to go into the flight school. Granted it is a small town but, there are small airports in most cities. I totally agree with keeping it simple for fun now that it's mentioned. I try to think of things that will make good pictures and sometimes forget the difficulty. My apologies.

I saw a jeep w/ chrismas lights the other day, is this a thing now?
