Why they didn't come stock that height is beyond me! I wish I could afford to drop mine like that. Still plugging away at the maintenance things though. Just need to keep it running for now. No extra money for "toys" for it.

Mercedes Challenge was posted 06-03-2012, 12:44 PM...12 hours to go for someone to complete this then it's up to the OP to complete his own...and given how specific the challenge was, I bet he has one very accessible to him

It's a "challenge" for a reason...can't have em all handed to you. And it's like not voting: if you don't play the game, you can't b1tch about the challenges so get out there and do some.

Thanks man! I put on the Tokico illuminas on back when I first got the car in '05. They've held up pretty well but I think its time to change them now. Thinking of doing the XYZ group buy if my wife will let me . Its a little lower now than when I first put them on tho.

After 9:44 am Pacific Time, I would like to vote to re-open the Mercedes challenge to be "Your maxima next to a Mercedes 4 door sedan", is that ok with everyone?
Update: As of this challenge, the timeframe for completing a new challenge is changed from 2 days to 5 days. If failed to be completed, the challenger retains the 24 hours to complete their own.
2bros and I know this will slow things down, but in effort to not penalize active players and account for our busy schedules/activities this summer, we felt this was needed. Hopefully this will help maintain activity and avoid penalizing those who are playing just because of limited activity.
Should participation increase, the 2 day requirement can be re-established.
Unless there is opposition, this change takes effect now.

Five days is a long time. Three or four days maybe? For those difficult challenges, this board will be dormant. I'd say add a day, at the most, two. I think five is too long.
If each challenge takes the max time or isn't even completed and the challenger gets another 24 hours, we could potentially be looking at a maximum of 5 challenges per month. Not cool.

If people would stop coming in here f'ing up the game by not completing challenges, this change would not be necessary. Also, due to the limited number of us playing (2-3), this time frame will hopefully give those on vacation time to participate. It is by no means a permanent thing and if the game picks back up it will be changed back. I think also if this has not effect, or a negative effect on the game, we can change it back to the 2 days. Let's just be open to something new. Chris asked a while back what to do to get the game moving along and really no one responded. This is what we came up with as a result. Maybe this will make people post more "doable" challenges as well. Let's just give the 5 day thing some time and be open to change. We can always dumb it back to 2 or 3 days.

I was going for one of the signs that people stick in the ground when voting time is coming around since they seem to be popping up now.

as for your current challenge... does it have to be attached to the grocery store? or can it be on the same plaza as the grocery store (because the gas station is owned by the grocery store)?

It can be in the same plaza, so long as it's branded properly. I was hoping for a shot of the car, gas station, (and store in background) if possible...that was what I was envisioning

For the new challenge, I think as ling as it is owned by the grocery store, It's fine.
