Bought wheels and tires for my 99 Max. The wheels are 18x7.5" and the tires are Dunlop SP9000 235/40/18. I took them to a tire shop to be mounted, but the owner said the rim was too narrow, and he didn't want to be responsible for any damage.

I checked the data for the tires and the recc rim range is indeed 8-9.5" (my bad), but I think I've seen some of you guys with the same setup? I could probably exchange the wheels for a wider one, but I don't know if I really need to . The wheels are ROTA Velo (or something) and I really like the look.

Please Help, I cant' stand the look of the stock wheels since I lowered it.
