The intake looks good! Are you suggesting people to keep the stock intake scoop on?

no, but it can't hurt. it might vent just a little bit of fresh air in. can't hurt, it's all your preference.

i'm not sure. i dont have a thermometer. but it is farther away from the engine and i will be integrating a vent from the bottom of the car to bring outside to the intake.

Does your design give more power over the standard POP charger?

it is expected to give more due to less restrictions after the maf to the TB. i will be getting dynoed on saturday, 2 pulls without it on and 2 pulls with it on.

How does it feel to you? More pull than stock? Any more noise? Also, how much is it going to cost?

IT feels much better then stock, pulled just as hard with 5 people in the car as it did stock with 2. yes there is a lot more noise. sounds SO AWESOME. at WOT it's a thundering sound. and at light throttle and if you blip the throttle is sounds JUST LIKE A turbo hiss. videos of it are to come.

The desighne looks pretty good. With out a heat shield or something of that sort it is not going to get any cooler air then a stillen intake. Your air filter is about 2 inches further away from the engine then mine but it is possibly being smuthered by the batery slitely. The piping looks like it has a smoother air path, this could help draw a few extra HP. I will be looking forward to Saturday's dyno results . Keep up the good work Steve.

So you just replace the stock intake resonator and the air box, and kept the MAF, correct? Does that little breather filter come with the kit since you disconnected those hoses.

OH yea one more question....in the last picture, it looks like you only used two bolts to connect the intake adapter to the MAF...how come you can't use all 4 bolt holes? Did you ghetto rig it or something? (kinda like what I had to do with mine)

at first... we did not have the proper MAF adapter for the MAF, so yes, it is rigged up. We are, however, getting our own MAF adapter machined so all four wholes line up perfectly.

Yes... the breather comes with the kit
