5speed grinding & Redline Synthetic gear oil

my trans grinds into 2nd at high rpms, like when i try to chirp 2nd,and shifting kinda notchy, and i heard that when a manual trans has syncro wear, the redline synthetic can cure it or make it considerable less noticable,i wanna know if anyone has anything to say about it,like if they used it how it worked,i dont wanna spend like $15 a quart if it aint effective, thanks

I'm not buying the cure part, but it will make it less noticeable and will actually shift in the cold.

In the summer months, I don't noticed much in the way of difference, but in the cold, the difference is tremendous. It is near normal shifting in the cold whereas the stock situation felt like rowing butter until things warm up. ...I don't get a grind into 2nd either.

Redline

Huge difference here in MN in the winter, this morning it's -6, tranny is smooth. The previous poster was correct. I have noticed slightly smoother shifting in summer as well. Go for it.
