How long have you own your maxima for, and how long you think you'll keep it for???

So we all have to admit maxima's are wonderful, powerful, luxurious, comfortable, spacious, easy to mod, strong etc...Now how long have you had your maxima and how long do you think you'd hold on to her?
I've had mine about 5-6 years and I hope to hold on to it until it's too costly to keep her. Can't give up my 6spd manual

I've had my current one since the beginning of December and I plan on keeping it until I graduate high school (2013).
After that it's on to faster and newer things such as a 2012 Sti.

I've had mine a year and a half. Bought it at the dealership I used to work at when it was traded in. I convinced my then general manager and the sales manager to let me buy it instead of them risking not making any money taking it to the auction.
It wasn't in very good physical shape on the outside. The pearl white paint was heavily oxidized and I didn't think it would clean up. I was amazed it still had shine after I claybarred, buffed, polished, and waxed the eff outta it.
It's a 2000 SE pearl white with black leather, 5-speed, heated seats, Bose, auto climate control, sunroof, and even has the optional side impact air bags.
It was originally purchased as secondary transportation, but when my Grand Prix GTP 2 door got totaled by an 18 year old girl who ran a red light and T-boned it, it's now my primary car.

Got my I30 last June. Only 32k miles, so it has a ways to go. I'm a freshman in college, so it needs to last at least 4 years, and I'm pretty confident it can. But for what I paid last year, and the depreciation, it won't be worth it to get rid of my car in a few years. Hopefully a degree can land me a good paying job then I can pass my car onto a relative. Unless I don't want to part with my car by then
bought my 99 maxima late 2010. Right now I am doing the 3.5 swap on it. Previous engine had 190k before showing signs of giving up. After the swap, ima try and keep till "the wheels fall off"
or once I get the mulah to buy something new ill pass it on to my little brother(freshman in highschool). Im pretty sure it will last till he graduates, possibly more...

I got mine around 2006 and still have it. Right now it's at 312k miles (well the body is, not the engine) and still going.
And I'm going to keep driving this car till it crash and burns. Wheels can always be put back on

Purchased it new in March 1999.
Probably keep it for another year or two.
fWI - The longer I hold onto this car, the lower my cost of ownership is. That's a great perk for the reliability and value the 4th gen has proven to be. Not many other cars out there that can claim that.

* 1989 Turbo: Owned approximately 14 years. Keep until it explodes or someone who wants to continue enjoying a turboed Maxima comes along. She is my baby, but just don't have the time to give her the attention she deserves.
* 2003: Owned little more than a year. Will probably end up being my son's first car in another 3 years.

Owned current 95 SE since May 07 (134K miles) and plan to keep it around until the engine gives up or it costs too much to repair and isn't worth it. It's up to 175k miles now. It'll probably become a winter car in 2-3 years as I really want something newer and different to mod. It's such a great car and I just can't sell it to somebody else.
Got my first 4th gen in 02? and put 100k miles on it before i sold that one a year ago.

6 years in 2 weeks. Not sure how much longer, but I know I don't say "till the wheels fall off anymore..." There's passion, but then there's also limiting yourself from bigger and better things.
I had mine for a year. Got it when It had 189k. Right now It has 222k. I am planning in keeping it until the last piston stops moving. Right now my money is going into top-notch maintenance to preserve the life that she has left.
