If you had to get....

a car for like 8k what would you get? I may need to get rid of my car due to some problems with my insurance agency and I need some suggestions. so throw some ideas at me people!

Nice ride for under 10K. I thought they were pretty reliable. Get 200,000+ miles out of them.

OK you guys are on crack...why would he want a bubble butt, rattling maxima when he could be styling in a 3rd gen with independant rear, limited slip etc?

or ofcourse the 95-96 Maxima 5spd

hehe i just checked out your homepage. i had the exact same car! (well, almost) 91'SE,auto, same apc blue door lights that turned green and even the same cda-7863 HU nice!

hmmm....$8k

maybe a good condition 91 VG 5spd and use the rest for maintenece and some mods. if I could find a very well taken care of one maybe a 2G Eclipse GST/X or maybe a '94 "bubble" Caprice 9C1(LT1) and throw some mods on that bad boy!

either save your money or go for a 95 Maxima 5spd or 6spd legend<-- i actually dont know how much the old ones go for but it could be a good bang for the buck.

get the 5spd VE and put the rest of the money into some mods- CAI, Y pipe, rims, suspension.
IMHO it looks better too.

i think im gonna go for a 95-96 max. i take a look at all the cars on the road and there is absolutely nothing that looks attractive to me. so im keepin it in the maxima family.
