Maxima very unstable on highway

I have own this Maxima 2012 for 3 months now and every time I drive this car out of city for 2-3 hours I keep swearing and thinking of selling this car.... I guess I did not catch this when I test drove as I was only driving it on short period of time and was blown away by the power....

I feel that this car is highly unstable on highway speed... I am constantly moving my steering wheel left and right... and passenger in the car can feel it too... I used to own Scion TC and honda civic .. and they felt very stable in highway...

I checked the tire pressure and they all are ok....

Does anybody feel the same way ?
Is this just the personality of maxima or the stock tire just a bad tire ? ANybody know how to fix this ?
I love to drive out of city and this has made my driving experience very unenjoyable...

So it's a new 2012 Maxima? The reason I ask is because of the way you worded it in your opening sentence.

what are highway speeds? If you take your hands off the wheels which direction does it go?

If it's 2012 and has a warranty take it to a dealer and have them inspect everything. If everything checks out then invest in some aftermarket shocks/springs or coilovers and some energy suspension bushing. Also look into a Front strut tower bar or an aftermarket sway bar.

Don't know much about the 7th gen. Everyone I know that has one, loves it.

not right...take it back soon since I think there is a time limit on getting an aligment done for free if that is what is needed. Sounds to me either a bad tire or the aligment is off

2012!!!Isn't this car still under factory warranty? This is the onliest time you'd want to run to the stealership everytime you feel somthing weird...
