Tough decision on trading

I have a 2003 SE/TE with 36k miles. Auto. The paint is not in great shape. It's fully loaded. I got offered a 2000 Jeep Wrangler SE with 50k miles 4 cyl 5 speed. It has a brand new paint job. It's in mint condition. I can't decide if I should trade. I want to go off roading and stuff like that but I feel like I may be throwing the maxima away. Any opinions?

36k miles, WOW.

Why is the paint wack, has it been outside in the sun a lot?

It depends on what you intend what your intentions are.

Check www.kbb.com and www.nada.com for some comparisons.

I usually don't like vehicles repainted, but if done right, it could work.

I paid my Maxima off, and that for me is a win. It has given me zero problems worth noting.

I wanted to go offroading so I bought a Pathfinder, but kept the Maxima. Yes, the Jeep is far more capable than a Pathy in the backwoods, but, exactly that, the Pathy is a bit more spoiling with some offroad capability... and a V8

The jeep makes an excellent offorader, but making long highway trips doesn't seem like a fun task. I would look for something you can afford and keep the Maxima.

Then again, this is a bias opnio0ni but I'm sure you expected nothing less from a Maxima forum.

If you've got room to park em, keep the max for DD, and the jeep for the weekend fun...
