I have no reverse light

I noticed lastnight as I was reversing in my yard the reverse lighy that usally shines and light up the house wasn't there. Turn off the car then put it in ignition and notice that both reverse lights wasn't working. What's the chances of that happening?

I didn't take off the light because i'm sure the both bulbs wouldn't blow the same time, and it's too time consuming to check. I checked the 3 fuse boxes but didn't see a reverse light fuse. I just got back my car from the engine swap so i'm not sure if the swap has anything to do with it.

Any help is appreciated

The back up lamps use the same fuse as the tail lights, cruise control, ABS and a dozen other things. Since you had the engine swapped, it may be something simple like they forgot to put the wire on the transmission reverse switch. Manual or auto trans.

Appreciate the feedback. The mechanic missed a plug and now it's working.
