Us 1st genners could use some attention too but as Wiz said, not too many would be willing to commit, especially for us. Not too many of us on here....

But a hood and trunk would be interesting....

For a one off hood? No. For a group buy? Possibly.

Hmmm...

I have been shopping around for a duckbill cf trunk for a 98 maxima. I know I cant get a group buy going because a lot of people don't even buy the regular cf trunk. How much?

Cost of development + cost for the part. Development on a large item like that is typically around $1k.

Items like that require at least 5 committed buyers unless you wanted to front the development cost.

They are overlays... If you wanted to do CF to replace your current it would require a wrap and slight trimming to make it fit. You couldnt replace the piece because of the mounting tabs n such. Best best is trim away and wrap the current plastic so it keeps its standard mounts and form. I mean, I guess with the write amount of money anything is possible, that just seems like the more logical approach! I believe wiz has a kit similar to that though...

Lol i know a cf grill would cost more...i simply stated i dont wnt to pay 170 for a fiberglass grill that dont even fit without modification....how much ballpark you think a carbon fiber 97-99 grill would cost, and would it be guaranteed fitment without having to drill extra holes?? Me personally i prefer no emblem on it with a nice design... im not scared to spend money...just dont want to spend it on something thats going to cost me alot and then have to modify it to fit properly...

driling two holes is hardly enough of a modification to justify getting upset over. as long as it fits correctly with whatever installation procedure, who cares.

Fitment would be guaranteed. What kind of grill are you looking for. Stock in carbon, a particular aftermarket grill in carbon or a custom grill?

Let me know what grill you have to send in. If you wanted a mold, I'll need at least 5 committed buyers.

Ok scratch the grill.. shifter bezel would be more like it for a 5 speed of course.. and i got no.problem sending it in but in order to get 5 commited buyers id need either a definate price ir ballpark figure, most people wont commit to buying something unless they know price range...

Of course people would know a price before I have anyone commit or give a deposit.

With that said, the shifter bezel does not require 5 buyers. The interior trim is wrapped & that can be done as a one off.

Ok, now I'm curious as to just how much was quoted. I've had items wrapped before and I'm wondering how the prices compare.

No prices in the thread please.

Interior parts are rarely done as a new mold due to the clips & locking systems they have from the factory for install.

With that said, I'm happy to work with anyone's budget, but I will need to know what it is.

I met you in the middle. If you can find quality carbon for the price you needed to be at please send them to me as well. I'll outsource everything to them.
