what the F@#$

LOL OKAY, so im not new into the mechanics side of cars, but this maxima of mine has me coming to asking alot of questions these cars are like women, so difficult to understand lol. so heres my issues,
Did breaks and oil change today feel accomplished, except when i was putting my oil filter on i noticed what looked like coolant on a pipe next to the oil pan /oil filter. it has a hose attached to it and looks like crap, rusted up, and looks to me like a slow leak, what is this pipe, it's function, what do you call it?

sorry in advance if this was gone through i just have no idea what this part would be called.

unfortunately no pics, and it's too late to grab them tonight, but the metal tube goes what seems to be all the way back, then goes to a rubber hose, then another peice of metal tubing. then looks to go into/onto around the oil filter area

Pics would help a lot. Sounds like a pressure hose for the power steering pump coming from the power steering fluid reservoir.

that is the coolant line that runs from the coolant outlet and to the engine oil cooler.

this is a very common issue. I usually see this on all 5,5 here in new england.

Get it replaced ASAP or you might run the radiator dry and overheat the engine.
