took my car to a bodyshop for painting before summer. after I got it, it had the check engine light come-on for quite a while...tried to schedule a dealer appt but before I could, the engine light goes out.

anyone know if I should think that my O2 sensors are bad since my exhaust is carbon coated (on the inside!)...vs my friend's whose greddy exhaust is more or less clean.

if I rev my engine (with the y-pipe and RT cat installed) at high rpms, there is a little puff of black smoke that comes out.

what should I tell my dealer? check the o2 sensors anyways? and perhaps the fuse box?
