Vacuum Chamber delete 85 max?

Hey guys I am building a 85 maxima and I would like to know if the vacuum chamber is even needed in this car. I would like to delete it to clean up the engine bay a lot. Any help would be great. This is the system that the intake passes though.

Sorry, don't know what you are talking about. It would probably be best if you asked this question in the 1st & 2nd generation forum, not the general discussion forum.

I'll wager that it is a bad idea. Vacuum reservoirs are generally required for heater controls and cruise control to operate reliably. Of course it's possible that due to Nissan's unorthodox part names, that I am thinking of the wrong part.
