Goodbye and thanks Maxima.org

I ended up with a shattered foglight lens, and I priced replacement, my eyes started wondering...

I have replaced my car, with a 2008 Lexus IS-F with 55k miles. Many of my friends think I'm crazy, as they looooooved my Maxima. My father-in-law wanted to buy it for his one of his other daughters. The Maxima was so roomy compared to this IS-F. But my heart is moved by raw performance.

I've been a member of this forum since I got my 7th generation Maxima in 2008. This forum has been exceptionally helpful in answering my questions- many times without me having to ask.

I've found a new forum, clublexus, I've been over there "super lurking" ever since my purchase in July.

Though I wasn't exceptionally active, I will miss the knowledgeable and respectful members of this forum.

Thanks a bunch guys.

Damn...how do I post pics? Maybe I never earned the right...

It was merely a catalyst for things, I suppose, not the reason for the trade. 416 horsepower, rwd, exclusivity were the reasons. Lexus service is from another world.

This reminds me of a similar post from my old wrx forum, a guy needed brakes and ended up trading his car in and getting an STi, so everyone responded by saying they needed gas, or (fill in the blank) so they traded their car in.

Man, I gotta have a photobucket account? I don't have a photo bucket account, and have no real need for another screen name and password.

The worst part is the non-functional 416 horsepower and I really miss Nissan's in car sound funnel/generator.

I think the lines of the 7th generation Maxima are more beautiful. That is a gorgeous and timeless design, in my opinion. I just hated seeing myself all over the place.

Thanks for the love. This car sounds, handles, and accelerates incredibly.
I suppose I need some pics of the circus exhaust...

Nice car from the performance standpoint but still a chicks car nonetheless. My GF has an IS250 and it just feels small. I've driven the ISF and its a great car, but they need to do a GSF to entice me.

Good looking car though! Enjoy it!

Your friends say that because your Lexus is light years faster than what they drive. lol

I couldn't see myself not having a maxima now.

Very nice find though.
