I heard that some insurance co's replace 2 windshields a year without raising your premium. Someone just told me that this also relates to the rear window. My insurance company is Colonial Penn/GE. Any opinions/experiences?

P.S. I accidentaly scratched defroster lines while removing tint

 

In MA only windshield is covered by insurance companies, free replacement that is. I am not sure about other states and their policies.

 

In Ma. With glass coverage.....A broken piece of glass = new glass! However, scratched defroster is not broken glass. (Cough)"break it" (cough)!

 

Sratched defroster doesn't sounds like enough for them to replace it without a up in premium, but it depeneds on company, state and condition.

 

I am in Maryland. What are the conditions? Of course uhm..its easy to say...glass breakage...I wish I could find such Kenny G. I am not a huge do-it-yourselfter
