Transmission problem
This has probably been talked about before. I have an A32 Cefiro Wagon after the 1st start when i put it in gear the engine stalls or gear box builds up too much pressure. When i take off it gets stuck in 3rd till it warms up i really want know what its problem is ive been to nissan they couldnt find any codes ive asked on the maximasdownunder/altimaxima with out a solution to the problem. If any 1 has experienced this i would like to know. I can post the link from MDU if you want to read what has been said on the site

You could be having a problem with the shift solenoids inside the transmission. Some people will get codes and some don't.
I searched for "shift solenoids" and got many hits. Here is a link to two threads, the 1st one has a photo of the solenoids.

Thanks for your reply. Ive been reading quite a few threads on here but no 1 seems to have had the same problem. I might drop the fluid and take the pan off and clean the filter, Is there any visual way to know if there is something wrong with the solenoids? I will admit i am quite hard on my GB feeding it off lights/intersections with abit of wheel spin and have had it sitting on the spot a few times as well as doin abit of lawn mowing if you know what i mean!! Over the last week i havn't been able to put the car in gear with out it stalling atleast twice then as ive said it takes of in 3rd which is horrible. Could a faulty o2 sensor cause this, the sensor has been the same for about 5 years it never bothered my parents and hasnt bothered me either as the check light only comes on when driving between 80-105km/h keeping a constant speed in that range will cause the o2 sensor to fault so i highly doubt that its the cause of my problem. If any 1 else has any idea PLEASE let me know. Thanks

Any 1 have any other idea's would a tranny flush help car has done 165xxxkz or 102xxx miles. I think there may be a chnce that the solenoids are going it does change a little hard at high rev's but not really bad. Driving nicely the gear changes are fines also feels like it slip's a tiny bit
