Maxima/G37

So, it's no surprise that a lot of people always talk about how they'd buy a Maxima if it was AWD or even RW. Of course this comes up a lot since FWD is not really too popular to some. Plenty of people here who own them tend to say how they wish they had a different drivetrain too.

I was curious as to why no one just goes for the Infinit's, aren't they AWD?

Is it because they are very brand loyal and just love the Maxima's, or because Infiniti's are very pricey?

Ive own a g35 and i have a 4th gen, its jus in the persons eye if what they like. If i wanted a rwd maxima i would get a g35 sedan or j30 but o could see the large possibilities far as parts and swaps. If they made a maxima (which they did do in the early years) with a rwd then infiniti sedan sales would be horrible just because of price. It would be nice to have a 350z motor in a max tho.

People have drivetrain preferences for their own reasons. Personally i like my car. It does what it needs to do, and I bought it for super cheap at the dealership I used to work at. That's the only reason why I have it, actually.

Maximas are cheaper to own,run and are more common. These days it seems to be the Infiniti selling point. The only Major difference between A G35/37 VS A Maxima...

The infinity G series honestly is just a maxima/350z but waaaay more fancy and on some things better of course infinities are either AWD or RWD but use basically the frame of Nissan just add their fancy touch to it that's how I see them.. Same with the infinity i30 and 5th gen max same exact car with infinity touches

When I was looking for another car, I would have considered the Maxima if it wasn't for the CVT and lack of torque so the G won my heart

Correct me if I'm wrong but isnt the G sedan a skyline in other countries? Does Infiniti actually do anything like interior on the G or do they just sell rebranded skylines?
