Magazine with Maxima coverage?

ARe there any? SCC, Turbo, Import Tuner are all for the ricey cars.
Then you get magazines strictly dedicated to VW and BWM. How about Nissan?

Turbo or SCC (I forget which) were doing a project on the '01 but that was a while ago....who knows what happened with that.

I had this same question and even thought about creating an online magazine of sorts. Perhaps even do PDF versions of the magazine with a couple of pages to start out with.

I'd need help if i were to do this though. (e.g. local people from their respective states who would act as liaisons and stuff)

It would be nice if there was a magazine just for Maxima's.In the Feb 2002 issue of Import Tuner someone asked why they dont have more 4th gens Maxima's the response is they feature what they see, what they think we want to see(the reader),would be interested in seeing. If no one is fixing up Maximas etc then chances are you won't see one in the mag,if can't find parts for the car that hasn't been embraced by the aftermarket yet,or never will be.I have seen alot of very nice pic of Maxima's here online that should be in Magazines oh well there mistake

All we can do about it is send in our pics to the "readers rides" section of all those mags....then they might get the idea.

Just look at the rag called "Honda Tuning". Its dedicated to Hondas and it doesn't have that glossy paper like R&T or Car & Driver. If someone starts a rag like that for Nissan I'd support it. "Nissan Tuning"?

Ive seen quite a few maximas in mags, and nissan in general, but not as much as honda/mitsibusi. Cuz those are cheaper, you can pic one of those up now for 4g's and add 20 in mods and have nice piece.

Hmmm, a no-nonsense grassroots type of magazine eh? (Did I just say that? ) How about call it something simple like "Nismo Magazine"?

i saw that and was appalled, the sarcastic dumba$$ said there wasnt anyone fixing up maximas, i was like we have 8500 members here, then clubmaxima.com, and then those that arent part of either, i dont like the writer of that response

sorry if this is old news but---MT has a little "First Drive" section on the 2k2 max and a nice article on the 2k2 Altima, even though i've lost a lot of respect for MT as they gave the PT Cruiser the 2k1 car of the year, THAT is sad IMHO

So why don't we all flood their desks with pictures of beautiful Maximas? If we plan it out well, it could be really funny. Some 8000 pics of Maximas at once...hmmmm
