I took my 96 Max to jiffy lube to get the oil changed. The service guy drove my car into the garage bay and I went inside to sit in the waiting room. A few seconds later, the service guy comes into the waiting area and asked me what model car it was( I have the MAXIMA letters shaved off my trunk). There were 4 or 5 guys there in the garage they knew it was a Nissan but not the model. Duh! If I wasn't in such a rush and my car wasn't 200 miles over due on the oil change, I would of took my car elsewhere.
After they finished I thoroughly inspected my car and made sure these rocket scientist didn't forget to put in the drain plug or something.
To top it off, I later noticed that these F#%kers took $3 out of my ashtray. Needless to say, that's the last time I go there.

That story is why you don't go to Jiffy Lube......like they have a clue how long your car can go without an oil change.



Heck, with the level of skill they have to perform an oil change, 3k is probably too long to go between changes since there's no telling what they'll screw up.......




3k AND Jiffy Lube is a waste of money....

I think that should serve as a warning to all. Be careful where you take your car. Specially Jiffy Lube --- I think they only employ High School Shop Class drop-outs...

Ask around from friends and family before you take your car somewhere... even if it means paying a little extra...

or do it yourself...

and to think that you (pjalst) gave them a $3.00 tip too!!! Those bastards!

I ACTUALLY LIKE JIFFY LUBE, AND THE 50% DISCOUNT MY EX GETS ME. THEY CLEAN YOUR CAR TOO. I THINK IT DEPENDS ON THE PLACE.....ALSO THE PRINTOUT THEY GIVE YOU WITH THE RECORDS FROM THE PAST IS PRETTY COOL....EASY TO KEEP TRACK OF...

 

you should call their home office and tell them what happened..
you might get a refund on your oil change..
