it looks the same to me..the way the SC fits it shouldn't be different. maybe minor sensors and etc..but it should fit.

wondering it myself since there is a price diff between the 99s and other 4th gen when I called stillen...!

anyways, just got off the phone with a stillen sales rep.
they told me quote unquote here...."that there are ""different"" parts for the 99 kits as opposed to the 95-98 kits."

also....I think the 99s are V2s? don't know if the 98 and earlier are still V1s or V2s?

sucks to be me man...!

no UPRD Ecu for my car,
S/C kit more exp...cos of "more and different" parts
btw, the 99s have a digital odometer...so bezel kits might not work too...argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

perhaps I should go trade my car in for a 98 5 spd?

There shouldn't be a price different. I asked Stillen for prices for both the 4th gen (97) and the 5th gen (00)..and I got quoted the same price for both.

The V2's aren't only for the 99's. I have a V2 on a 97 and I believe Phil96SE has a V2.

99 kit is slightly different, the power steering needs a additional adapter. where as 95-98 just needs a longer hose.

perhaps its cos I call stillen up and tell them I'm first time caller...so they kill me by jacking up prices?!

the reason is cos I had a bad transaction with my sales rep and am trying to fool their computer system or get someone to go and get stuff from stillen...! so I pretend to be first time caller...!

can someone call stillen and try and find out? thanks...greatly appreciated.

their # is 1800-576-2139 or 1800711-4126...!

Do you think Stillen will just sell me the adapter?

just talk to hamilton, it'll take him a while to find out but pretty sure he'll pull through for you. billy from this bbs had some missing parts for his sc (used) and hamilton got him all the parts.

The kits are basically the same, except some variations in brackets and mounts, as forementioned.

The reason in pricing (increased) is due to the V2 availability and the now defunct V1. Only V2s are available for the 4th generation Maximas and 5th gen. Maximas. You can no longer purchase a V1 brand new from Stillen or any Stillen dealer.
