Kumho Ecsta Supra 712

Anyone else experience a lot of road noise with these? I recently changed my brakes and rotated my tires. After that I noticed a loud droaning noise which my gf describes as a grinding sound. Not sure why the rear tires that are now on the front would be so much louder cause I didn't have this problem before. Any suggestions?

It is not unusual for tires to get noisier as they wear. But a grinding sound is pretty bad if its being caused by the tire. I would check the tire inflation and also look to see if there is anything rubbing in the inner front fenders. Also, make sure the wheels are torqued on properly (80lb/ft).

I have the Kumhos and they have been great over the past 5000 miles.

Mine are quiet despite going up one size to 245 from my old P7000SS.

Like stated above... check for another source of the grinding noise.

Right now mine are torqued at 90/lbs. Does it make that much of a diff?

I did notice they were a little noisier than the stock toyo's (those were toyo's weren't they--I can't remember). But, now that I'got 10,000 miles on them they just seem normal.
