Suspenion Pros and Cons

Opinions please ...

I'm currently running cheap OEM replacement struts with B&G S2 springs on my Gen4 ('99).

The struts are just about done and I have a couple of options for replacement.

I've got a set of Ground Control adjustable coil overs that have been sitting for quite some time.

I've got a set of BNIB Tokico Illuminas that have been sitting for just as long.

Here's my inquiry to you guys ...

For a relatively pampered daily driver that now again gets some toying with, what would you guys tell me would be the advantage of either/both of my prospective suspension setups.

1. Tokico Illuminas paired with B&G S2 springs.

2. Tokico Illuminas paired with Ground Control adjustable coil overs.

Your thoughts?

I've seen some pretty bad bouncing with ground controls; not a fan

Stick with the springs

I would sell the GC and get something else. The illumina as you know, are a great strut.

Here's my setup and it's great. Tein H-Tech springs (1.5" drop) and KYB front struts, Megan rear struts (I blew the megans up front with a 2" drop originally).
