LOL sprint..

What do you mean by how much was everything? are you talking about install and stuff for the ps2? Well i did it myself but it isnot complete YET. I still have to do some stitching on it to make it look PERFECT. If you got leather interior.. its kinda hard since thats wat i have. But cloth should be ALOT easier. let me know

While talking about headrests ... do you use the ones that are there or buy new headrests with inserts made for the screens?

putting the PS2 in the armrest might get annoying having to reach back there to change something and if you ever want to take it out the armrest is ruined.. BUT, once it is cleaned up it should look pretty sweet!!

i cant wait to get my pull-out drawer or whatever i am getting to hold my PS2 under my glove box..

my PS2 is under my passanger seat strapped down securly. Its mounted to that small hump right at the front of the seat. I had to slide the seat all the way back in order to mount it down. The good part about it is that you cant see a thing when the seat is back to normal position and still gives you easy access to the unit.

But soon ill have a Pionner DVD(discman size)player custom mounted in my glove box and the PS2 will be in and out for car shows etc... i miss having my PS2 in my room :/

oh and BTW i have a 400watt(dual socket) power supply hardwired and mounted directly under the front seat to supply all the juice i need.

Nice. That sounds like a great deal. Although I'd like a flipout INDASH one, that one is roof mounted.. But still, sounds good.

I was thinking about putting a ps2 in my car. 2 things i am curios about, can you use ps2's dvd player to play dvds in you car. Also when you hti a bump does that skip the cd or dvd? Also, this may seem extreme but its what my friend did with his playstation 2 to fit it into his s2000, he cut it in half. i guess half of it is just space for add ons like a dial up modem. I would prob not recomend doing that but i found it interesting.

Since my airbags blew, I'm going to be putting my PS2 in my passenger side airbag and have some brackets made so that I can take it in and out with ease. It should look pretty snazzy as soon as I get it done.

Wow...that doesn't say much for Alpine. PS2 is one of the lowest quality DVD players on the market...that's not what it was intended to do. It's sony's basic DVD player, and I've never made it through an entire movie on any of my friends PS2's without it locking up the picture or skipping all over the place.

does the dvd player in the ps2 still operate well under normal road conditions, where it can be a little bouncy?

I mounted mine standing up in the back seat.. I mounted the vertical stand on the hump between the rear passengers, and ran the wires under the back seat.. This way when I want to have the ps2 in the car, I snap it into the stand, plug in the wires, and it is all set to go.. It really doesnt take up to much space, and is really easy to take out if I am in the wrong neighborhood.. PLUS I have never had it skip from this position.. Running from the PS2 I have the Pioneer motorized 7" in dash screen, and 2 5" Accele headrest monitors.. Check out my set-up on my homepage..
