do the skirts wrap around them? or in front?

They wrap around the edge and into the wheel well. The skirts require that you put rivets into that part that wraps around the edge.

you can get away with just some 3m body molding tape... I spoke with a local body shop and they were telling me by using rivits in the area along the width of the side skirt increases the risk of rotting out the sill. This only effects people with sunroofs, the drain channel runs the water down to this area and by having rivits in there you WILL eventrually rot out the sill. As soon as i get my skirts painted i plan on using either 3m tape or some 60sec epoxy to secure them along the full width of the side skirt.
