Forged - Light and strong
Cast - Cheaper to manufacture.
Multi-pieces - Usually are forged. No point increase the manufaucture process and still using cast method. With multi-pieces, the manufacture can easily accomandate custom wide/sizes. Replacement for part of the rim will be available.
