What are the disadvantages of an Infiniti G37 with a standard transmission versus a Maxima with a standard transmission? Are G37s harder to repair? What about parts? Is one more failure-prone than the other? If you broke down in middle-of-nowhere Mexico would one have an advantage over the other?

 

G37's don't have CVTs for transmissions which would be my main reason alone to pick it over another Maxima.
