One of the issues with the software is that it's 15 to 20 years old, and is designed to run on an older windows operating system. Windows XP seems to be the most widely supported operating system by these scan programs. To get arround this we will need to run the program in compatibility mode. Right click on the programs short cut. Then select properties. Select the Compatibility tab. Check the box Run this program in Compatibility mode. Then select from the drop down list the operating system you want to use. I have not tried this yet. But it may work. I would first try windows XP.
