yes, go down to a local custom exhaust shop and talk to them about it. Since they do not do anything but exhaust they might not be able to help you, but could give you advice.

Also talk to DMBmaxima88 about it. The frankercar guy

Yeah, try an exhaust place. There's no reason you cant use exhaust tubing for an intake...

well, i remember reading awhile back on here that pvc was bad to use inside of engine compartments because when they get hot they could emit toxic gases. maybe it was only CERTAIN types of pvc (like cpvc?)

wtf, so your saying if u drove through the desert doing 85 mph breathing in sand it would be ok as long as you're in the car not breathing it in? toxic gases are probably not a good thing for your car. i still don't recommend using pvc.

I'm pretty sure that even if pvc piping emits any kind of toxic gasses, that means that it would at the point of melting, and I'm sure that the temperature inside the engine do not get that high.

and yes, I don't mind breathing in the air in the car even going 120 mph in the huricane

and by toxic, do you mean toxic for a human or the car, yes, maybe smelling melting pvc piping would be bad for a human, but for a car it doesn't matter

basically, here's the thing, if your point is even remotely can be held as truth, then think about the rubber parts that any CAI has. rubber melting point is way bellow the melting point of PVC piping, and unless you come close to that point there are no toxic gases

... therefore

PVC piping does not give off any toxic gasses, because if it did then by that time the rubber joints would have melted by that time
