VB install question

ok i am going to do the valve body mod on my maxima. before i get my self into trouble i have some questions on how to use the torque wench i just bought. i got this thing at pep boys.

its a micrometer adjustable torque wrench.
specs are 120to960in.lb. of torque.
3/8" drive
1 lb graduation.

my question is did i even buy the right tool???
before i start i want to have all the tools ready. but uhh i can't figure out how to adjust the damn thing. in dons instruction it say to torque each VB bolt to 6.5 ft.lb or torque, by 1 lb incraments. now how the heck do i adjust the torque wrench to do this. please can someone help me.

You bought the right tool. You put the 0 right under the 120 and turn it left 3.5 gradients - this will put you at 6.5 ft-lbs. I wouldn't try to torque each bolt in 1 lb incremets - that's very tough and time consuming to do. I would finger tighten each - then torque each to about 5 ft-lbs. Then torque them all to 6.5 to 7 ft-lbs.
