how to remove scratches from glass.
Hey guys,
This is a little OT but I was wondering how to remove some scratches from glass. Some punk *** SOB (I'm being kind here sandpapered my passenger side window and I don't want to spend all that money for a new window. I was wondering if there is anything I can do to somehow get rid of it or even make it less noticable. Would a glass repair shop be able to do this? Thanks.
Regards,
Mike H.

When you say "sandpapered" I assume you mean nothing so deep that you can catch a fingernail on it, right?? If it is just surface scratches many autoglass companies can polish most of them out. It takes special compounds and buffers and a little expertise. I would recommend that you (or the glass company) remove the window from the door to prevent any accidental contact with chrome or painted surfaces. Good luck!
