Heard on the news

That is was going up, but like 15 cents a gallon. I topped off today with Mobile 1 93 for ...he he he.... 1.09! I hate it when it gets above 1.30 for premium....Thats my breaking point for riding the bike more and garaging the max more.

It would be interesting to see

What the prices are later today and tomorrow. Seein as in Ohio, they raise the price at lunch on Wednesday, but do sometimes wait until Thursday...thats why I always try to fill up/top off on Wednesday morning...to get through the "artifical" price spikes for the weekend.

They do the same thing around here in the Detroit Metro area. Seems the close you get to the city the less likely they are to "spike" prices each week.

In Louisville they usually drop it on Mondays and Fridays. I filled up with 93 from Meijer yesterday for $1.09, 87 was only $0.99, it's always cheaper in Indy. In metro Louisville it's usually 10-20 cents more per gallon than up here in Indy.

Jeez, and I thought I was working it. I have this one Mobil station I go to for all fillups. $1.45/gallon for 93. That's the best around here in the NY/Westechester area for quality gas.

The price for super unleaded is ranging from $1.19-$1.35 fro brand name gas stations in MA. On certain days of the week some places knock of .05 or .10 cents off super unleaded.

Where are you finding premium for less than $1.20 in Novi? I'm in Farmington Hills and $1.08 for regular at 12mile and Halsted is the cheapest I've seen. I saw $1.07 for regular at the Clark station out in Ann Arbor by my work (on Packard between Stone School and Platt).

Where you buying your gas at? The cheapest here in Seattle is $1.49 for 92. The highest is about $1.89.

And a few months ago, it ranged from 1.79-$2.29.

Yup, Speedway gas station at the southwest corner of Pontiac Trail and Beck. It's on the way to work for me, I work in Farmington Hills and rarely drive out to Halsted. My daily route takes me up to 12 Mile & Haggerty, and Amoco always charges more than Speedway.

Yay, I have a fellow .org member who's close to where I am. Wanna help me put some springs in?

That's weird, I've never heard that before. Andy rooney said he drives from CT to NJ to get gas. Funny that you'd be that cheap when you make millions! We cry about 50 cents per gallon tax on fuel. What is it in Québec, easily more than what we pay for the entire gallon they pay in taxes alone. What, 64.9 cents CDN per liter? I usually don't care I just pump it, what ya gonna do, not return the rental full?

We pay 1.159 for 93 on Tue for Texaco. What a ultimate rip off when we can buy 87 for 1.019 everyday. But when you look closer, the dealers in NJ are cheesier than PA, because the tax is 14.5 cents and 26.6 cents per gallon respectively. Fed adds another 18.4. We never can buy gas in South Jersey for 12 cents less, and in northern NJ it's actually more than Philly. Supply and demand peoples. Anyway, gas is about 6 cents more than when it hit bottom. People are spending $150+ per tire on this forum, what's up with 6 cents?

Heh... Well I don't have any experience putting springs in, but if that doesn't deter you from wanting my help I could probably lend a hand.

Two questions:

1) Why is gas in California the most expensive, besides Hawaii

2) Why is the highest octane in California 91, and its still more expensive than 93 in say, Massachusetts
