Is a 5th gen muffler compatible with a 4th gen

Hello,

I have a stillen B pipe and an HKS muffler and had a bit of fitment difficulties (might have to play with the muff. hangers).
The noise levels have increased dramatically. I think it is a bit too loud.
I am interested in replacing the HKS with a 2K muffler. The question is if it will fit a 96.
Do you guys know?

but it will not de the most direct bolt on. I believe you have to get the flange or something redone a bit. A muffler shop can do the welding for you for a pretty cheap price.
