Brakes fading, I think

dang cmon I need feed back on this

its scary when I brake really hard and all I get is a vvvvvv sound and the car not stopping.

Let me ask you this, do you even break in the pads correctly? or do you hammer on them when you get them in? If you didn't break them in, you probably glazed them...

I broke them in correctly Im not the hard hammer

type whos always slammin down their brakes. Its just when I have to actually brake hard for some cars or to stop lately it hasnt been doing the job. I tend to press down to try to get it to stop but there is no dramatic change of the cars weight shifting or the stopping distance. It was like no matter if I pressed on the brakes accordingly or had to press them down harder to get it to stop It hasnt been happening I changed the back ones nottoo long ago because the rotors needed to be changed. The front ones have been changed since like about a full year ago in Texas where I use to live. I think its the front brake pads or brakes or something up there. I did break in the pads correctly so there is no doubt about that but it does scare me abit when it doesnt stop the way it use to any more.

Have you ever changed your brake master cylnder? or brake booster? Probabyl shot.

never thought about that. How can I tell if it shot visually . Y ou prolly cant huh? Well Ill lookinto it I ll take it to a brake place soon to see what they say. Thanks man.
