104 octane with N20

I did a search on racing fuel, and it seems like we shouldn't really use it...we have to increase compression, retard timing...

I will be running a step colder plugs and Nitrous. If I used 104 octane racing fuel, will it do any serious damage to the engine?

Please do not say Nitrous does more damage or what not...
My question is about how gas (104 octane) will affect the engine with and without the Nitrous.
I have a 4th gen with y-pipe, intake, exhaust.

Mikey,

I think running any higher than 93 is not good for the engine...just run 93 with the NOS and you will be fine.

the motor might not.. but the sensors will.. which will give incorrect readings.. the ECU will compensate buy having the car run rich all the time.. but who knows..

ok let's see here...
i believe the highest UNLEADED octane is in the 101 area...maybe higher.

104 may contain lead....lead fuel in a unleaded car will result in BAD things....so keep that in mind.

also dumping a bottle of "octane 104" in the tank WILL NOT give u 104 octane in your gas tank...so forget that idea.

Are you guys referring to 104+ Octane Booster? I use this product (red bottle) and i have notice improved gas mileage as well as pedal feathering aceleration. Here is a good link www.goldeagle.com/104plus/products.htm please express your thoughts/opinions. 96se auto 165,100 miles all Amsoil lubricants/filtration, Redline "Water Wetter" Dunlop SP Sport 5000's Best Regards! Oh and I am aware of Nitro and how can cause a major "KABOOM" to any engine if not respected!

My Friends dad buys 110 octane by the barrel for his race cars. I would not recomend running over 93 in max unless you mees with the compression.
