I saw some videos of this guy's supercharged Maxima on this Supra racing page. I was wondering if he ever comes to Austin and races or what not...i'm in San Antonio and about to get a 85 shot and was wanting to see if I could hang with him....

 

Loren isn't in Austin, SA, or Houston very much but he does come down on occasion. Go to Dallas if you want to meet Loren or Thomas

85 shot and hang with him with just a GT Eclipse? You will need more than that. He puts almost 300hp to the wheesl, which is basically 360-375 to the crank

Eclipse GT will run 14.9 stock..

which means that with an 85 shot.. he as fast as a 4th Gen with 85 shot.. which means he might even beat loren

I have yet to see a 12 second dallas maxima.
Maybe sx7r but the 1/4 was closed that time we went.

RussMaxManiac, are you in San Antonio? This is Nick, I used to have the 2000GT, before I totalled it. I got a 2002, now with a downpipe and it's just a faster car period than my old one. I remember asking you if you wanted to race that one day and you said NO.... sux....

Anyways, i'm thinking of going 100 shot now, either way, i'm down for whatever. My next car is either going to be a Supra or VR-4, so i'm just having fun with this 3G GT.

Cool bro, I don't go to the lame "race spots" here in San Antonio, I hardly street race anymore, because the tickets aren't worth it, but every once in a while, i'm down. We should meet up sometime and have a couple of good runs or two. I'm down for whatever.

As a matter of fact, after I posted this topic, I got a ticket on 37 past the alamodome, racing an "M3325i"...he had that badge on the back of his car....I walked him by 2 cars going 120...got a ticket clocked at 98....first ticket in a year and half, so NOT WORTH racing on the highway....for some car that I knew I could handle...

 

ya, i've never been street racing here in SA. only once in austin and twice in Schulenburg (halfway to Houston). only other time has been over at RiverCity Raceway. first quartemile ever and got a best of 16.195 (LOTS of stuf in car and HEAVY 17 inchers.) plus auto, hee hee. Everyone i've ever raced has beat me, except this eclipse over at river city who was faster than me, but i had a better reaction tiime. wiped the floor with him...
