tire rating ?

Me and Steve have been arguing about this...

ME: 4th gens (not GXE's) came stock with H rated tires, and I believe 5th gen's too.
Steve: 4th and 5th came stock with Z's.

whos right?

My 97 SE came with Toyo's but I can't remember what they were rated. Not Z though. The Goodyear Eagle RSA's are definitly not Z rated either. I think you're right and they were H rated, but they might have been V though.

ya i said they weren't H's because the cars aren't limited. i know my car has V's and i'm talking SE's here.

H is still good to 130, so I think Nissan was happy without a limiter since the cars won't go much faster stock. What are the odds people besides us are going to drive them that fast. I think the GXE's were S which is where the limiter came in.

Does anyone have a set of Toyo's or Goodyears on their SE they can go look at??

I know that 4th gens came with H rated tires at best. No V or Zs whatsoever. I have the brochures for 97 and 98.
