Never taking my car to a dealer again... :(

Today I was installing my crossed drilled rotors and porterfield pads on the front of my car, when I noticed a nut backing off the right hand suspension, the brake line clip was missing, and one of my wheel studs was almost stripped. I got a new transmission almost two months ago from the dealer, and Ive noticed many things wrong with my car since... two weeks ago my car started leaking fuel, and i noticed the lower clamp on the fuel filter was loose, I found a couple loose bolts in my engine compartment, my power steering is now leaking, the list goes on. I just went over the milage on my warranty so I'm going to do all the work on my car myself from now on. Most places just dont seem to take any pride in there work anymore...

They sent me a letter asking me what I thought of there service and I wrote them a book. The guy at the service counter got me a new tranny when the warranty company didn't want to give me one, but they still did crappy work...

Regardless of whether you car is still under warranty or not, the work they did should be covered for 1 yr/12k

THAT BLOWS!

I can understand how you feel. Some of the dealer mechanics are PIGS!! Ask around (friends, coworkers...) and get a recommendation for a good independent mechanic. They usually do a much better job. And for simple stuff (oil changes, tune-ups, etc), do it yourself. Nobody will take care of your ride like you would.
I agree with jdmmax... Call Nissan and the Better Business Bureau and f***'em. Don't let those **** get away with it.
