BlueVision much better than CoolBlues

When I bought my max I put in Sylvania's Cool Blues. They were OK at best. My headlight burned out yesterday, I went to Kmart and bought Phillip's Bluevision. I am very pleased with them. The low and high beams give me more road visibility and the light is whiter than the coolblues.

Wise choice. Now take the $40 or $50 you saved not buying inferior PIAAs and buy something else nice for the Max.

I bought the Sylvania XtraVision becasue they supposedly give more light out then the CoolBlues and up to 20% more then the OEM bulbs and also brighter then the CoolBlues. This is according to the guy at Karagen's and a Sylvania rep that was there in the store.

Frankly though, I'm disappointed in the bulbs. I admit they do seems a bit brighter, but not 20%. It seems like they're brighter just becasue they're new, not becasue they are better. Has anyone tried these XtraVisions and found something better. They had some
SilverStars in the shop, are those any good?

I don't care about white or yellow light, I just want something that will light up the street so I can see further.

How do Bluevisions compare to Silverstars? I'm torn between the two, and PIAA is tooo expensive for bulbs.

(Ahh, it's the VisionPlus that's not available in 9004, my mix up .. sorry)

I've got the XtraVisons also. I think they are alright, but when they die, I probably won't get them again.

You won't be able to tell the difference. Buy which ever one is cheaper in your local store.
