Maxima muscle ?

Hey guys,I was thinking...Is the Maxima a "sedan" or a sporty 4-door, well those two names are true to the Maxima I like to classfy the Maxima as a Muscle Car! And I think the Maxima fits into those guide lines nicely. What about you? Tell me what you guys think.
BTW:Try not to compare with the 400hp cars of the 60's

not muscle

A maxima is not a muscle car IMO. People like to refer to a corvette, camaro, mustang, or firebird as a sports car, this is people who don't know anything. Those are not sports cars, those are muscle cars. Those are cars that drive straight forward, they do not have the handling of sports cars, and a max is more like a sporty sedan.

IMO

Let me see a so called sports car out handle a C5 Vette. Maybe a C4 Porsche will out handle it, but really not much will. New Vettes can handle!

Ok I won't compare to the 400 HP cars of the 60's but how about the 80's? If I want to go newer and think muscle...I think Buick Grand National or GNX.

Sorry but when I hear the term "muscle" car the last think that pops into my head is an import.

I think of it as a nice roomy 4 door family sedan that can eat 'stangs, civics, and Integra GS' for breakfast...
Other thank that, Its nice and roomy and I drive my friends around in it alot.

Eat stangs for breakfast? also, Its "a four door sports car" I think Mustang Camaro/Firebird are muscle cars. Vettes and Vipers can me muscle or sports cars. Imports aren't muscle cars. Id never consider the Max a muscle car.

Reason's maxima cannot be a muscle car:
Not made by an american company
v6
4 doors
FWD

Maxima is a great car, but I doubt it will every make me consider it as muscle.
