Quick Tire question
Quick Tire question
I have Kumho 712's, which are directional tires. They are about a year old. Back in October/November I rotated the driver side, and when I went to rotate the passenger side I realize one of the bolts was misthreaded. So I didn't rotate that side
So just until this weekend, I finally replace the stud on the passenger front wheel. This tire has uneven treadwear, which explains the pulling I've been having.
Here it is:
Driver side wheels have close to even tread, front and back. Passenger side, rear has lots of tread left. Passenger side, front need to be replaced, uneven.
I don't want to replace all four, but I realize I should replace them in pairs. Which two should I replace?
I was thinking maybe I should have one of the driver side wheels remounted for the passenger side, since they are about even, and only get one new tire (since the pass. rear is really good)?

Re: Quick Tire question
Buy 1 new tire. Mount and balance to the left front.
Move that good rear tire to the right front.
put the remaining 2 wheels in the back.
Of course this means that one of those remaining 2 wheels will have to be un-mounted and re-mounted in reverse direction. You will have to balance that one again, too.
Done.
