FINALLY got my front lip back on, and guess what happened

NO it DIDN'T fly off again This time I had my body shop professionally paint and install it..the black shines beautifully and they used some kind of adhesive that he says is stronger than the stock I guess like cement

ANYWHOO, there is construction and the roads are really ripped up near my neighborhood, so I re-routed my way home. Got to my house, and everything was fine. The lip looked just peachy. Then I back into my big-@ss slanted driveway. Just fine! THEN I start her up and pull back outta it and I hear a "screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetch". Well I pulled over and it has 2 gashes underneathe where it scraped my slanted curb. Can't see it unless you look under but man it feels bad 'specially since it's still a newbie!

I only have B&G's, I know some of you guys who are slammed feel my pain. Redmax, guys, feel free to share with me your stories of scrappage to give me a boost. It's impossible not to gash up the bottom of the lip in the real world..right

Did you buy a new one or get the old one fixed?

I guess you have to go up/down your driveway at a "slant". That might help

sup jeff,

I bought a new one. freshly painted AGAIN, and I somehow fock it up

Ya, when I pull in normally (not reverse in) and I go really slow, its just fine. And when I pull out, it's just fine. But you know I guess some of these things are unavoidable.

I think I remember Jeff (Redmaxpa007) say his wife really bashed the h#ll outta his front lip..so I guess that makes me feel better

This is music to my ears

I am glad I am not the only one in this boat, but am p!ssed our precious cars get focked up like this.

I guess being slammed/being sexy with body kits comes with a price... just imagine what corvettes have to go through.

it's all about taking EVERYTHING at severe angles... i **** off drivers all the time, especially over speed bumps, because i scrape everything.. the worst feeling is pulling to close in a parking spot and hitting that curb thing in the front.. my @$$ sits WAYYY out now everywhere.

i cant imagine how i am gonna drive with a full body kit.. i had to sell my stillen kit when i lived at home because it was IMPOSSIBLE to get in my driveway, no angle ever would get in without RIPPING the body kit apart... time to relandscape and repave the driveway..

cant you just hit the bags and be high enough to make the driveway or speedbump?

I scrape loads and I haven't even lowered it yet .. Sadler, shame on you, just raise your car up an inch, pop on the kit, and you're at the same height

Damn I hate that. I scrape my Greddy sometimes backing out of certain driveways. And I only have Eibachs. Sheesh...
