It looks like "clear corners" have been played out, ambers are back....

I've been noticing in Sport Compact Car and the ads in the mag, many of the "cleaner" rides are going back to using amber turn signals. Anyone else notice this? Now they are selling "JDM" ambers. WTF is the difference between a JDM amber turn signal and a US-spec turn signal?

What a crock of BS.. Enjoy your orange lights.
I/ve been noticing that on even stock vehicles, the amber safety reflector is now getting more stylish and integrated with design. i.e., the 99-2001 Civics, they had the teeny tiny reflectors in the headlights. I also like the Volkswagon headlights. Even the 2002 Maxima's look pretty good. No more are the huge big blocky orange lights like the 4 gen max.

You know what they say, "Keep anything long enough and eventually it will come back into style."
Joke: You know how to tell when you're getting old?...When your ties are all different widths.
I guess you can also tell by how many sets of certain car parts you have lying around the garage.
the only way they are a trend is bc these honda guys think that the japanese parts are "so much better" than the ones on american versions, it makes them feel like their car is expensive and has "exotic" parts, its nothing special, jdm does have some parts they put on their cars that may be superior to the US, but light housings? give me a break...
miss the trend and u be out!

Good idea, go with the trends, don't put clear corners on your car "because you like them", do it because it's cool

Really there's nothing wrong with observing trends and then deciding if you like them or not. I like the low rider jeans that girls wear nowadays, that was not fashionable more than 2 years ago. I didn't like the long men's overcoats which are so out of style now. But keep it in the closet it will be back in about 8 years.
