I know this is not the audio section but here's my question. I am looking for a 12" sub and amp, but don't know what specifications to look for. Can someone give me a list of options and the amp that should go along with it. As you can see I don't know a lot about car audio but I'm learning. I am looking for a sub with a lot of bass and good sound. Thanks.

PIONEER COMPONENTS 6 1/2 front
PIONEER COMPONENTS 5 1/4 rear
PIONEER FH-P85 HeadUnit
SoundStream 405 Amp Under Front Pass Seat

Total about 400+watts of Clean power. Take the Head unit out of the picture and U'll spend about $1000 on subs, amp and components. Add the headunit, about $2200 (but U don't think I paid $1200 for a PIONEER HeadUnit)

 

it fits perfectly into your trunk and you can not see it nore does it take up any useable space.This is a costum box designed for the 4th gen and has 1 12" JL W6 which is a very nice Sub Woofer.It will cost about $350,now try to find a Amp that runs about 300 Watts check out Ebay or if you have a friend that works at best buy or other electronic store get him to hook you up with his discount,if you do have a friend or get one on ebay you should pay no more then $200 for the Amp which would bring you up to a grand total of about $550+ add in another $75 for wires,so if you have $625 then your good to go BOOM BABOOM BABOOOOOM!!.Don't wake up the neibors now you hear haha.

 

The Stealthbox has a 10W6, not a 12. It should still sound really good, though.
