tuning adjustable struts

I have questions about tuning adjustable struts. The only ones I've had are the Konis with my coilovers, which is a very firm ride. How well do strut adjustments work with regular springs? I'm curious because I had H&Rs on my Maxima before, but with the non-adjustable Tokico blues. The overall handling was acceptable and the ride good most of the time. However, I hated the softness of the rear struts (I think we all did back in those days), which weakened the handling and were too bouncy on washboard roads. I assume with the newer adjustable struts the ride of a softer spring can be firmed up appreciatively to improve both cornering and bounce. I'd appreciate hearing what setup you use, why you choose the adjustments you make, and how well the setup responds to meeting those needs.

Stock Springs here with the adjustable AGX's. I can tune my ride VERY tight. The handling is awsome with them set just slightly firm. The only thing I have is wheel gap, which I can live with. The ride on the softer settings on stock springs is awsome. These struts are tighter then stock even set on the lowest settings. Big improvement over the stock struts.
