The only one I can find is the OZ Superleggera, 18x8, 17.6 lbs., around $300ea.
What else is there in 18x8 with similar stats?
PS. I don't like the Konig Toxxins

Also if you're looking to keep it on the low down for tire $$$, I recommend the Sumitomo HTR+ @ $131 for a 235/40-18. It has a treadwear of 360, traction is AA, WR rated, and its load rating is the same as the RS-A in a 215/55-16. The way I look at it is a $250 tire is just as susceptible to road hazards, it's a bummer to have to toss a $250 tire due to a visit from the puncture fairy. So far the Sumitomo has been fine on my car, and it's good in the wet. I just don't like Kuhmo--I don't like those tires like Hankook etc. I'd stay away from Korea or China for now. Maybe eventually they'll build a good tire. Stick with Japan as being the sweet spot pricewise. But if you can go ba*** to the floor then Pilot Sport A/S rocks steady. I got my axis se7en's for 250 a piece. 18 X 7.5. I got a package with bridgestone potenza s0-3 pole positions for 1900 total. Those tires are 210 each so i got a good deal. I love my rims!

Enkei RPO-2 is even lighter. RPO-2 looks better than RPO-1 IMHO, but both of them are pretty plain wheels. They are cheap and made in Michigan though which is kinda cool.

Will they fit on the Maxima? I mean offset wise etc? Also where would you get them? I can't find them on discounttire.com they only have the RPO1's. If the RPO2's are around the same price then I might get those instead.Originally posted by Nealoc187

You can get them through discount tire, whether they are on their website or not I don't know, but discount is an enkei dealer. Actually discount tire can get any wheel you want if you go in there an ask them, they have hundreds of suppliers around the world, they just don't stock much of what's available. Both RPO-1 and 2 are OLD *** WHEELS. When I say old I mean at least 4 years old, they were out when I bought my first set of rims way back in the day
Yes they will fit on a Max, I saw a 3rd gen with them a couple weeks ago.

Doesnt matter to me if they are old. I liked the look and like the lightweight design and the price. If it has those things I was looking for then heck, it works for me.Originally posted by Nealoc187

You can even see that some arent even FORGED. GTP's are about where SSR Integrals/GT1's are on the weight scale. So just be careful.. i know they make quite a few that arent this list that are pretty heavy (for volks, anyways)
magnesium wheels.. yummy.

Don't forget, the lighter you go, the easier it is to bend them. Forged is supposed to be the strongest setting, but it's near impossible to find something that is great for the track AND everyday driving.

Ya win some ya lose some I guess. It is a tough line to draw between which one you want though. I like the best of both worlds butthat comes at a high cost.Originally posted by Str8ridin

does anyone know of a GOOD (not basic) looking set of light weight 18" 5 spoke wheels; I'm looking for something that would look good on a silver 5th gen; I like the OEM wheels on the new audi's and IS300's; I love MM Evo5's

if you're refering to me, I have OEM 17" wheels. Cwally and Kloogy have evo5's in 18" and 19" respectively. Those are not exactly the lightest wheel; I am wondering if there are any other good looking 5 spoke wheels that are not heavier than my OEM's?
I'm surprised no one mentione Centerline RPM and Excel. Each can be had for around $275-300 per wheel and 18 x 7 weighs in at about 14.5 pounds. That's lighter than just about anything else outthere including Volks!

1) The thread predates Centerline's appearance onto the "scene".I'm surprised no one mentione Centerline RPM and Excel. Each can be had for around $275-300 per wheel and 18 x 7 weighs in at about 14.5 pounds. That's lighter than just about anything else outthere including Volks!
2) The rims are too narrow. A 7" wide rims is good for Civics, but not for Maximas. Tell me what tires you're going to put on an 18x7? A 215/45/18 would be the right size for a Max, but there aren't too many good tire choices, and they're still narrow.

They're supposed to be RPM-2. I have them in 18x8 on my car. Check the sig pic. They were $199 and are only 17.5lbs according to Enkei's website. They are also forged, not cast as wheelweights suggests.Originally posted by SuDZ

thanks for the pics; it makes this decision so much easier (or hareder). I like the Moda R6's, but they're heavier than Evo5's.
I really like those Volks that Kev has on his car; I like that style because it's so unique. Is volk the only company that makes wheels in that sweet style. Volks are too expensive by the way because I'm looking to spend no more than $230 per wheel (18").
