Beating a speeding ticket

With some of the posts on here lately, maybe it's time to review the literature. I got a spam email tonight that got me thinking about this. The first site is trying to sell their info, and they have a couple of sorta dumb freebies. Anyway ...
http://www.goodbyetickets.com/

This next site is the cheese! Lotsa great info if you're gonna fight.
http://www.norman-law.com/page6.html

This site was written for Californians who want to fight tickets, but is pretty good for anyone to check out.
http://www.ticketassassin.com/

Finally, if you are taking a trip, forewarned is forearmed!

The first link says to order now for the secrets. They have the same bs for sex crimes, DUI, shoplifiting, divorce, bankruptcy, so on and so forth. Speeding tickets is basically showing up and pleading. The numbers games is in the motorists' favor many times. They are cases though where you meet super trooper and you don't get off. There's no science behind it, it's a legal system. One of my buddies is a prosecutor in traffic court. She hates it. It's surprising she has that job since she went to Georgetown. Too much partying I guess. But she could make up a website like that and charge people for advice too. It's like giving your credit card number and having someone tell you "Buy low, sell high."

Get a Uniden BCT-7. I bought it when I was driving from Houston, TX to Orlando, FL. It is worth it. It gives me accurace information when there is police around. The only problem is that in cities, police is always within my 3 mile redius.

The only true way to beat it is to just pay for the damn thing.

Not unless they run an audit on you. And they only do that if you 1) change insurance companies 2) get in a big wreck and are at fault. 3)fall into a different age catagory which reduces your rate.

And if 1 or 3 happen, 7 out of 10 times, they don't audit.

I've been ticketed, suspended, towed, temporarily banned from the State of Indiana (all due to speeding), but my premium haven't gone up yet.

And check my email address, I WORK at the largest Insurance co. in the US.

So the only real way to beat it I guess is to just stop speeding.

Out here everything gets reported to DMV and the insurance companies get a copy. We get Californicated.
