Helmet visor steaming...

I've just taken delivery on a Simpson Super Voyager (Y) full-face helmet. What do you suggest to keep my helmet visor from steaming up? I can't hold my breath very long...

Open the visor - you will have nothing but trouble. Once you get moving at high speed with the window open you might be able to close it.

Hey Bullseye do you need the visor in the car? Or are you riding a bike?

BTW thanks for the info on your wheels, I found a set of used 15x7" 38mm offset Alloys yesterday that weigh 18 lbs so I took em. Gonna try and sell the two I don't need, probably someone else want to try some wide drag radials that may want em. Nitto suggested 7" so I was sort of reluctant to used my 6's. I need every little bit of help I can get.

Sometimes the obvious escapes me... Yes, of course, the easiest thing to do would be to take the visor off the helmet entirely. I can always put it back on when I ride my bike!

I think you're gonna like those 15s...

if you want to keep the visor on... you can use the stuff hockey players use the sweat and steam coating you can put on the inside of the visor...

You could always drill some small vent holes in the face shield. I've seen some sports masks that have a circular pattern of small holes to vent nose/mouth exhalations more directly. Might not want to do that if you use it on the bike, I dunno. As for the anti-fog stuff, I'm not too partial to that. Sometimes things like that increase face shield glare when the sun hits certain angles. More noticeable on a bike, since there's no shade

Get the anti fog stuff for ski goggles. This is what I use for my motorcycle helmet.

RainX anti-fog works or simple dish soap will do the trick too.
