k, i have a 98 5 speed maxima. i just hit 60000 miles, starting on saturday i noticed that when i shift in to first from a dead stop and dont get off to a smooth start i hear a banging sound right under the pedals. its kind of loud. but now every other grear is fine no sound and smooth and even first is fine if i do a smooth start. some one said i might need a new clutch what do u think. its still
the orignal factory clutch.

 

Kind of sounds like some clutch chatter, not positive though. Anyone else have any ideas?
